Now accepting applications for a full-time Adult Services Librarian!
Join one of the Top 10 most beautiful libraries in the US (Fodor's Travel)! Located in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva on the shore of Geneva Lake, our library seeks a full-time Adult Services Librarian to inspire readers and lifelong learners in our lovely lakeside community.
This role focuses on community engagement, adult programming, and library-wide marketing and public relations. You'll plan and lead the annual adult program series and Adult Summer Reading, schedule technology classes, and build relationships with patrons, businesses, and community organizations both in the library and at off-site locations. You'll also lead the library's marketing efforts — designing promotional materials, managing social media and the website, and developing the library's promotional calendar — and contribute to collection development for adult materials. Dedicated community engagement time at our circulation desk keeps you connected to the patrons and community you serve.
Our ideal candidate loves working with people. You thrive on building community relationships, genuinely enjoy connecting with patrons face-to-face, and bring real enthusiasm to marketing the value of the library and its resources and services to our community. We're looking for someone dedicated, collaborative and team-oriented, and committed to our mission of lifelong learning and access to information for all community members.
