Notary Services

The Library offers free notary services to the public. Public notaries are on site during most of the library’s open hours and no appointment is needed, but those needing a notary may call 262-249-5299 before arriving at the library to ensure a notary is present and available. The library reserves the right to decline to notarize any documents that are out of scope of the library notaries. The library retains digital copies of notarized documents and photo IDs for a period of seven years.

Valid photo ID for all signers is required. Do not sign your document beforehand; it must be signed in the presence of the Notary Public.
