The Lake Geneva Public Library is partnering once again with the IRS and VITA program to bring free tax preparation services to our community. Thanks to our volunteers, who have been trained and certified by the IRS to prepare returns and make this program possible!

The Lake Geneva Public Library VITA site is the recipient of a 2025-2026 IRS VITA grant.

We anticipate tax return preparation in 2026 will run from late January 2026 through early April 2026. Every client will need to complete and bring IRS form 13614-C to the library in order to have their return prepared. Tax payers may click the form link to download and print 13614-C, or stop by the library to pick up a copy prior to their tax appointment.
